Winter Trail Fest East is a trail race at Island Lake State Recreation Area, 6301 Kensington Rd, Brighton, MI, held on February 14, 2026. The event offers these distances:

Organizers describe winter trail conditions as variable, including snow, ice, slush, or mud. Registration includes a custom race hoodie, a finisher medal, chip timing with live results, race day photos, post-race food and drinks, and age-group awards (age-group awards have included winter hats). An economy registration option is available that excludes swag for a lower price. The event is part of a series that can be bundled with a Summer Trail Fest event; a bundle discount is offered when both events are selected.

Refund and transfer rules: no refunds are issued within 30 days of the event. Earlier than 30 days, a request may be made for a 50% refund of the entry fee (processing fees excluded). Entries cannot be deferred to another event or year. Entries may be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee; shirt size cannot be changed.
