The Wildwood Trail Marathon takes place on December 6, 2025, in Wildwood, Missouri. Course and logistics

Both race courses start on the Hamilton-Carr paved trail and include the Al Foster Memorial Trail, Rock Hollow Trail sections, Sherman Beach Trailhead, and connector trails. Surfaces include about 2 miles of paved greenway, gravel, dirt, and roughly 90 percent single-track with rocks and roots. Approximate elevation gain is 1700 ft for the marathon and 750 ft for the half; the marathon distance is described as "26.2-ish" and the half as "13.1-ish."

Aid stations are manned and stocked: the marathon has three aid stations, the half marathon has two. Supplies include water, Hammer Heed electrolyte drink, Hammer gels, and fruit available only at the Sherman Beach aid station. Approximate spacing between aid stations is 5.5 miles, with no gap greater than about 7.5 miles. Restrooms are at the start/finish and the Sherman Beach turnaround. This is a cup-free event; participants should carry their own drinking receptacle. A collapsible cup will be available for purchase for cash.
