Wildwood Trail Marathon

Wildwood Trail Marathon - December 5, 2026

Terrain Trail Runners hosts the Wildwood Trail Marathon weekend in Wildwood, Missouri, with races at LaSalle Springs Middle School, 3300 Highway 109. The event offers three distances:

• Marathon : approx 26.2 miles, ~1700 ft elevation gain
• Half Marathon : approx 13.1 miles, ~750 ft elevation gain
• 10K : out and back, approx 6 miles, paved and crushed gravel

All courses combine paved greenway, gravel, dirt and roughly 90 percent singletrack in places, with rocks and roots on the marathon and half marathon courses. The marathon route follows the Hamilton-Carr Trail, Al Foster Memorial Trail, Bluff View Trail, Rock Hollow Trail, Sherman Beach and Cedar Bluff connectors before returning to the start area. The 10K follows the Al Foster Memorial Trail along the Meramec River and returns the same way.

Aid stations are manned according to distance: three for the marathon, two for the half marathon, and one for the 10K. Stations provide water, Hammer Heed electrolyte drink, assorted Hammer gels and fruit at Sherman Beach. Restrooms are at the start/finish and at Sherman Beach for marathon and half participants. The event is cup free; runners should carry a personal drinking receptacle. A reusable collapsible cup will be available for purchase at packet pickup for $5 cash.

Registration closes November 29, 2026. Race day onsite registration is accepted with cash only fees for each distance. Packet pickup occurs on December 5 at LaSalle Springs Middle School.

Awards and included items vary by distance; guaranteed swag deadline is September 27, 2026. The event participates in the Trail Mix Fund partnership to help cover registration fees for underserved runners and began that partnership in December 2025.
