The Wildwood Trail Marathon takes place on December 6, 2025 at LaSalle Springs Middle School, 3300 Highway 109, Wildwood, MO. The event is presented by Terrain Trail Runners and offers two distances:

  • Marathon - 26.2-ish miles
  • 1/2 Marathon - 13.1-ish miles

Included with registration are a short-sleeve lifestyle t-shirt (guaranteed if registered by November 9, 2025), a custom finisher medal, free digital race photos, and a catered post-race lunch for runners. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in each distance. Race day/onsite registration is accepted; race day fees are listed for each distance and swag for race day registrants is not guaranteed.

Course and logistics

Both courses start and finish at LaSalle Springs Middle School and use local trails including the Hamilton-Carr Trail, Al Foster Memorial Trail, Rock Hollow Trail and others. The route includes about 2 miles of paved greenway plus gravel, dirt and roughly 90 percent single-track with rocks and roots. Approximate elevation gain is 1700 ft for the marathon and 750 ft for the half marathon. Marathon aid stations: 3 manned stations. Half marathon aid stations: 2 manned stations. Aid stations supply water, Hammer Heed electrolyte drink, Hammer gels and fruit (fruit only at the Sherman Beach aid station). This is a cup-free event; participants must carry their own drinking receptacle and bring a mess kit for post-race food. Packet pickup will be held at LaSalle Springs Middle School on race day.
