Wild Hybrid Birmingham - Cannock Chase Forest Day 2 Solos

The Wild Hybrid Birmingham event takes place in the expansive Cannock Chase Forest, located north of Birmingham in Rugeley. This location utilizes a network of trails, paths, fire roads, and woodland areas for the running segments. The event is dedicated to solo competitors and features a dedicated functional work area situated among the trees near the venue centre and parking facilities.

Participants can choose from multiple event formats:

  • Wild Hybrid Solo
  • 5 km Ruck Run
  • 10 km Ruck Run

The Ruck Run discipline requires competitors to carry a weighted pack throughout the course. Men are required to carry a 10 kg pack, while women carry a 7 kg pack. Participants must provide their own packs, which are weighed at the registration desk to ensure compliance.

All finishers receive event-specific merchandise and products from sponsors. The event utilizes live chip timing provided by Timing Up North to track progress. Prizes are awarded to those finishing in the first three positions within each category. On-site parking is available for a fee of approximately £5, and professional photography is captured during the event for later purchase. Entry is open to participants aged 16 and over.
