Western Pacific 2026

The Western Pacific 2026 takes place at the Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area in Fremont, California. This running event utilizes the Western Pacific Trail, a path that was used during the 1800s to transport gravel for the construction of the western section of the Transcontinental Railroad.

The course is characterized as being mostly flat. Participants can choose from three primary on-site race distances:

  • Half Marathon
  • 10K
  • 5K

In addition to the physical races at the recreation area, a Remote Runner registration option is available for those who wish to participate from a different location.

The event supports the East Bay Regional Parks Campership Program through an integrated fundraising effort. Registration for the event includes options for team participation, registration transfers, and gift registrations. The venue address is 2100 Isherwood Way, which is managed by the East Bay Regional Park District. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
