Event Overview

The Phoenix West Sussex Sunset run takes place at the Ardingly Reservoir during a midsummer evening. This event focuses on the twilight scenery of the reservoir and offers a relaxed atmosphere for participants. The course setup allows for a flexible choice of distance on the day of the event.

Course Details

The route consists of a scenic out-and-back course along the edge of the reservoir. The terrain is a mix of paved sections and compact off-road trails. The path is described as undulating, featuring gentle gradients, wooded sections, and open views of the water. Each lap is 5 km in length.

A combined entry covering four Centurion Running 50 mile races in 2026, each held on a different date. Minimum age 20, entry fee listed, with an optional XCover refund option and published terms and policies.

A 50 mile ultramarathon along the South Downs Way National Trail from Worthing to Eastbourne. Experience 5,700 feet of elevation gain across rolling chalk paths and finish with a lap of an athletics track.

A trail running event at Cowdray Estate on 11 April 2026 offering 3 km kids, 5 km, 10 km and 10 mile options, including canicross races. Routes cross heathland commons in the South Downs and include firm, wet and sandy trail sections.

Trail races on the South Downs Way around Stanmer with 21 km, 14 km and 5 km options. Routes pass Ditchling Beacon and include chip timing, a finisher medal, GPX files and on-course support for the longer distances.
