Weld Your Mettle Running Festival
The Weld Your Mettle Running Festival takes place on a 146-acre private property in Eaton, Northern Colorado. The event features a 2-mile groomed dirt loop course designed in a horseshoe shape, providing views of Longs Peak. Participants have access to a fully stocked aid station at the start and finish of each loop, as well as a turnaround point at the two-mile mark.
The festival offers a wide variety of distances and formats:
- 100 Mile, 100K, 50 Miles, 50k, and Full Marathon
- 14 Mile and 7k walk or run (4.3 miles)
- 7K Ruck (4.3 miles)
- Relay Teams for 100 Mile, 100K, and 50 Mile distances (2-12 runners)
- 36 Hour Timed Event
- 36 Hour Virtual Race
The venue provides several onsite amenities for participants. Runners can stay in glamping tents equipped with queen beds and power, or use the provided self-camping area at no extra cost. The festival grounds include a sauna, cold plunges, a massage and stretch zone, and yoga sessions. Additional weekend activities include a movie screening, bonfires, and a dance party. Finishers receive a shirt and a medal, while those completing ultra-distances (over 26.2 miles) are awarded belt buckles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
