The 100 mile event is an out-and-back staged over two days, running from Greeley to Bellvue and back, with an organized overnight rest camp at Vern's race campsite. The 100 mile relay is split into 24 legs of roughly 3 to 7 miles. No running is allowed on the trail between 10 pm and 5 am. Runners may receive crew support at exchange points, and solo ultra runners can pick up a pacer at the halfway point before starting day two.
