Eltuck Valley 5K - Lory Summer Trail Series

The event is a four-race midweek trail series held in Fort Collins, Colorado, at Lory State Park (Eltuck Picnic Area / 708 Lodgepole Dr, Bellvue, CO 80512). The series runs across August 2026 and includes shorter trail races with chip-timed results. Series points are awarded for each race and awards are given to top series finishers. Organizers provide a selection of vintage Gnar race shirts for registrants. After each race, pizza will be provided with support from the Fort Collins Running Club and beverages with support from New Belgium Brewing.

    • Flat and Fast Eltuck Valley : 5k (250' elevation gain)
    • Into the Hills Eltuck : 5k (700' elevation gain)
    • Into the Hills Eltuck : 10k (1,700' elevation gain)
    • Flat and Fast Eltuck Valley : 12k (500' elevation gain)

Additional notes: parking is at the Eltuck Picnic Area until filled, with overflow directed to nearby Spur Road. Dogs are not allowed on the course. There is no on-course aid; permanent toilets are available at the start/finish and additional park restrooms are passed on each course. A day park pass ($10) is required if the vehicle does not have a Colorado State Parks pass. Entries are non-refundable except for specific waitlist transfers; a 75% transfer credit is offered for future Gnar Runners races (valid 12 months). An 8K T&H race on February 1, 2026 at Edora Park in Fort Collins for Fort Collins Running Club members only; a bib is required and volunteers are welcome.

A multi distance trail event at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch in Loveland CO on April 10–11 2026, featuring 5K and 10K runs plus 4 hr, 6 hr and 12 hr timed races and relay and virtual options. Camp and on site aid station available.

Take on the scenic Poudre River Trail April 11 and 12 2026 in Northern Colorado with 50 and 100 mile solo and relay options. Stocked aid stations, finisher swag, belt buckles for solos and a lively post race party await.

Two loop options around Lory State Park and Horsetooth Mountain Park: 25 miles with 5,500 feet of ascent or 50 miles with 11,000 feet. The route is mostly singletrack with multiple staffed aid stations and enforced cut-offs at key trailhead..
