Into the Hills Eltuck 5k - Lory State Park, Bellvue, CO

The Into the Hills Eltuck 5k is part of a midweek trail race series held in August at Lory State Park, Eltuck Picnic Area in Bellvue, Colorado. The series includes multiple shorter trail distances and is intended to provide an entry point to trail racing while also offering shorter courses for runners seeking faster efforts.

Races in the series use chip timing and award series points for each race. Top series finishers receive awards. All registrants are eligible to choose a free vintage Gnar race shirt as available. After each race, pizza will be provided with support from the Fort Collins Running Club and beverages will be provided with support from New Belgium Brewing.

Entry pricing for individual races and the full series varies by date. Early pricing is available through June 30, after which race and series fees increase. Special pricing applies for ages 17 and under.

Event logistics and rules include a requirement to stay on marked trails, a prohibition on purposeful littering and on-course dogs, and a restriction on mechanical aids unless preapproved by race staff. Parking is at the Eltuck Picnic Area with overflow directed to the nearby Spur Road. These races are no frills; there is no on-course aid, and permanent park restrooms are available at the start/finish with additional facilities along some courses.
