Winter Weavers' Way 2026
The Winter Weavers' Way ultramarathons take place on 14 November 2026 along the Norfolk section of the Weavers' Way. Boghopper Races launched in 2023 with the inaugural Weavers' Way Ultras and the event continues with two trail distances.
Distances
- 100 km
- 50 km
The 100 km race starts at Broadland - Great Yarmouth Rugby Club and follows Breydon Water before crossing Halvergate marshes to Acle. From Acle the route runs alongside the River Bure to Hickling and then joins the 50 km route at Stalham. The 50 km race starts at The Poppy Centre, Stalham, and continues via North Walsham past Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, with a long downhill section to the finish at Cromer Pier.
Checkpoints and waterpoints are positioned along both routes and include locations such as Halvergate Pavilion, Acle bridge, Potter Heigham riverbank, Stalham Poppy Centre and North Walsham. Several village halls are used as staffed checkpoints.
The course passes through a mix of landscapes: coastal sections, marshland, riverside paths, meadows and historic estates. The finish is on Cromer Pier. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
