Waverley Dash

The Waverley Dash is a roughly 10 km trail race held on the Waverley Lakes area between Handsworth and Treeton, southeast of Sheffield. The mostly flat, off-road course loops around lakes, trails and fields and can be muddy in wet weather; runners are advised to wear trail shoes. The route is fully marshalled and has historically drawn around 100 participants, with strong community support from Handsworth Roadhogs and Howarth Estates, plus charity donations.

Race HQ sits beside the lakes, and the event is organized by Handsworth Roadhogs. Entries are via SiEntries, with parking at the AMRC training centre car park. Open to runners aged 16+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
