The Volcanic 50 is a rugged and challenging trail running event held at Mt. St. Helens in Washington.

It features two race distances: a demanding 50K course that circumnavigates the volcano via the single-track Loowit Trail, covering about 32 miles with roughly 7,400 feet of elevation gain and loss, and a 25K course showcasing iconic volcanic terrain with 3,200 feet of elevation change. Runners navigate boulder fields, rivers, blast zones, and dense forests, experiencing ever-changing volcanic views. The race starts and finishes at Marble Mountain Sno Park, emphasizing safety with mandatory gear and prior trail experience required for the 50K.
