Bigfoot 20 Mile Trail Race
The Bigfoot 20 mile trail run starts at Marble Mountain Sno Park and follows the south western side of Mount St Helens. The course covers 20 miles on National Forest lands and uses only single track trails. A 9 hour cutoff applies to the route.
Runners encounter a variety of volcanic and forested terrain. The route passes lava fields and areas of volcanic rock, includes stream crossings, and traverses old growth forests and mountain slopes. The course is described as mountain running with technical sections and varied ground underfoot.
The event is organized as part of the Destination Trail series and is listed with race dates on multiple years. Course materials include a course map and a runner manual. Photography and race imagery show rocky volcanic scenery, forested trails, and sections with sparse trees and snow patches on higher slopes.
