Halloween Dash Bash
Halloween Dash Bash takes place Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Pacific Community Park in Vancouver, Washington. The event features youth and open races on a course that is mostly grass and compact trail with some sidewalk and asphalt. The venue is described as spectator friendly with a Halloween and fall atmosphere.
Distances offered:
- 2k (8 and under)
- 3k (ages 9-12)
- 4k (ages 13-14)
- 5k (high school and open/community)
Course formats use multiple loops: the 2k is two small loops; the 3k combines a small and a big loop; the 4k is nearly two big loops; the 5k covers about 2.5 big loops. Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes October 18, 2026. Pre-race registration for youth and high school 5k races is $13. The community 5k is $13 if preregistered and $25 for day-of-race registration; Venmo, check, and cash are accepted for day-of registration. There are no refunds.
Awards include medals for the top 15 finishers in each race and a Halloween blanket for the top boy and girl in each race. Parking is available at the park with the east lot offering the most spaces; additional parking is available at nearby Pacific Middle School and Harmony Elementary within about a quarter mile.
