Portland Trail Series

Portland Trail Series is a low-key series of evening trail running races held in Forest Park in Portland. The series is organized as three separate five-race Series : Spring, Summer, and Fall : with races staged on Wednesday evenings from April through October. Each race follows a different marked course on hilly terrain and covers distances that vary by event.

Runners who complete at least four races within a Series are included in the overall Series standings; top finishers receive prizes provided by race sponsors. One route each Series may be designated the Mystery Route: the distance is announced in advance but the specific trails are not posted beforehand. Maps for each route are posted on the Monday before the race on the event site and on the event Facebook page.

The Series benefits the Forest Park Conservancy. A post-Series gathering is held after the final race at Lucky Lab Beer Hall where Series and age group awards are presented and a raffle is held. Single-race drop-in registration is offered on race day for a cash fee to fill no-show spots. Fall Series registration carries set fees for date ranges and is processed through Ultrasignup; processing fees, taxes, and add-ons may apply. No transfers or refunds are permitted; cancellations more than 30 days before a race receive a 50% credit toward a future Go Beyond Racing event, and cancellations 30 days or less before a race receive no credit.
