Viking Relays & Races - South Mastick, Cleveland

The Viking Relays & Races take place on November 7, 2026 at South Mastick Cottonwood Picnic Pavilion in Rocky River Reservation, Cleveland, Ohio. The event day includes timed individual runs and team relays on a looped course.

Events on the schedule include the 6 Hour Run, 6 Hour Relay, 3 Hour Run, 4 Mile Run, and 4 Mile Relay. The course uses a 2 mile loop; some races are measured by time and others by a set number of loops.

• 2 mile loop used for laps and relays
• 4 miles equals two loops on the 2 mile course

All events use chip timing. Non relay participants receive timing chips attached to the back of their bibs. Relay teams use timing chips placed inside race batons; batons must be returned at race completion. Bibs and timing tags are assigned to each registrant, must be worn visibly on the front outermost layer, and are non transferable.

Registration fees vary by event and include early bird pricing until October 1, 2026. Example pricing: 4 Mile Run and 4 Mile Relay early bird $35, regular $40 with youth pricing available; 3 Hour Run early bird $60, regular $70; 6 Hour Run early bird $80, regular $90; 6 Hour Relay early bird $60, regular $70.

Awards are presented for all events with overall and masters categories, and team awards for relays including fastest legs and average lap time distinctions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
