Veterans' Honor Run: 22 Hours of Tribute
This event is a 22 hour ultra held in Canton, MI, presented with both an in-person option at Heritage Park and a virtual option for remote participation. The course at Heritage Park is a paved, mostly flat loop of roughly one mile that was redesigned for 2026 to remove bridge crossings for improved safety and accessibility. Participants may run, walk, or mix activities and may complete as many or as few loops as they choose.
The event raises awareness about veteran suicide and funds several beneficiary organizations including Guitars for Vets, Therapeutic Riding Inc., and Leashes of Valor. In-person runners are chip-timed and a live-feed leaderboard will run during the event; virtual participants must track and submit their mileage by November 10th to receive official credit.
Registrations include an event Sport-Tek CamoHex t-shirt and a Sport water bottle when registered by October 15th. The aid station offers a wide range of hot and cold food and beverages, and heated bathrooms are located next to the aid station and start/finish area. Veterans may register free with the coupon code VETERAN. Support crew may use designated base camp areas and may be offered crew pass options for aid station access. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
