Event Overview
The Valley Vineyards Wine Run 5K is an annual running and walking event held at the Valley Vineyards Winery & Brewery in Morrow, Ohio. This family friendly event is part of the Ohio Wine Run Series and offers participants the opportunity to traverse a course that includes the vineyard grounds, a section of road, and a portion of a local bike trail.

The race is professionally chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results published online following the event. While the event is open to all ages, participants must be 21 or older to receive the wine pour and commemorative wine glass. Minors are welcome to participate at a discounted rate.
Course and Amenities
The 5 km route is an out and back course starting at the vineyard. While strollers are permitted, the organizer notes that the ground can be uneven in certain sections. Dogs are also allowed on the course provided they remain on a leash.
Participants receive a variety of themed race swag, including a ring-spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof and collapsible wine glass, and a finisher medal that also functions as a wine stopper. A pour of wine is included for legal-age finishers. Awards are provided for the top three male and female finishers across several age categories, ranging from under 10 to over 80.
