Overview

Run Uxbridge offers two courses on winding trails and roads in Uxbridge, with both start and finish at Elgin Park. The available distances are listed below.

  • 5 km Run/Walk on winding trails and roads, start/finish at Elgin Park.

The event is a fundraiser for the Uxbridge Hospital. Net proceeds go toward new equipment and furnishings for the new Uxbridge Hospital building. Online registration includes an option to donate and the event accepts pledge payments; pledge cheques are returned to the registration desk on race day.

Registration opens February 1, 2026 and closes June 10, 2026 at midnight. Entry limits apply: 10 km Run 400 entries, 10 km Walk 100 entries; 5 km Run 300 entries, 5 km Walk 100 entries. Fees vary by registration period and are published for each date range. Race kit pickup takes place June 12 and 13, 2026 at Elgin Park; kits can also be collected on race day if not picked up earlier. Race day registration is not available. Strollers and pets are not permitted on the course. Use of earbuds or devices that impair hearing is strongly discouraged.

Trail runs nearby

Trail running event at Trail Hub in Uxbridge offering multiple distances from 50 km down to a 1 km kids run. The event features marked trails, aid stations and environmental giving with a cup free policy.

A 5 km festival run on August 29 and 30 2026 at Dagmar Ski Resort featuring over 25 obstacles, 2.5 million cubic feet of foam, a free kids zone and on-site food and entertainment.

Trail races and hikes take place at Slabtown Cider Co on private Woodnewton Farm trails in Uxbridge, ON. Multiple distances range from a 1 K kids run to a 40 K five loop event and the hike donates part of its fee to trail restoration.

Trail race at Long Sault Conservation Area offering 2 km, 7 km, 14 km, 21 km and a timed six hour event. The course uses two 7 km loops with a single aid station and limited on site parking.
