The Cider Run

The Cider Run is a trail running event organized by Green Newton Adventures at Woodnewton Farm on private property hosted by Slabtown Cider Co. in Uxbridge, Ontario. The event is scheduled for September 19, 2026. Race routes and maps will be released shortly before the event and may change based on trail conditions.

Trails use mixed forest and rolling terrain with technical and gritty sections. On-site amenities include washrooms and outhouses at the start/finish area. Slabtown Cider Co. will offer post-race food and drink; reservations are recommended because space is limited.

• 3.5K Kids' Timed Race
• 3.5K The Sauce Hike with 50% of the entry fee to Woodnewton Farm Trail Restoration
• 8K The Apple
• 16K The Peck
• 40K The Bushel

Event notes: parking is available on site but limited, carpooling is encouraged; the event is cup free so participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Prohibited on course: dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles. Awards are given to the top three female, male and non-binary finishers in each age category and overall; awards must be picked up at the race. Registration fees include 13% HST and online processing fees; entries are non-refundable and non-transferable and the organizer may cancel or postpone for safety or weather reasons.
