The Cider Run

The Cider Run is presented by Green Newton Adventures on private trails at Woodnewton Farm at Slabtown Cider Co. in Uxbridge, Ontario. The event uses hidden trails on the Oak Ridges Moraine featuring mixed forest, gritty hills and gently rolling recovery sections. Route maps are located on private property and will be published shortly before race day.

• 8 K The Apple single loop
• 16 K The Peck double loop
• 40 K The Bushel five loops
• 3.5 K The Sauce Hike with 50% of the fee supporting Woodnewton Farm trail restoration

Logistics and rules: on site parking is available but limited; car pooling is encouraged. Washroom facilities and outhouses are available at the start and finish area. Spectators are welcome with best viewing from the start and finish. The race course prohibits dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles. Slabtown Cider Co. will be open after the event and has limited seating.

Fees and policies: listed prices include 13% HST and an online processing fee applies. Entries are non refundable, non transferable and non deferrable. The organizer may cancel or postpone the event for safety or weather reasons and is not contractually obligated to issue refunds if a reschedule is offered.

Volunteer opportunities are available and include roles such as venue setup, registration, aid station, course marshal, food prep, course sweeper and tear down. Volunteers receive race swag and may be eligible for high school volunteer hours and volunteer draw prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
