Event overview
The Utah Marathon is an inaugural road and trail race set for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Oakley Rodeo Grounds in Oakley, Utah (4300 UT-32, Oakley, UT 84055). The race is organized as a multi-distance event that uses local trails and roads and highlights mountain views and Oakley’s western heritage. Roads on course will be closed to through traffic.

Course and logistics
The marathon course includes water stations at 1.55 mi, 3.1 mi, 5 mi, 9 mi, 13 mi, 16 mi, 19.65 mi, 23.1 mi, and 24.65 mi. Bottled water, Gatorade, and individually packaged snacks will be provided at aid stations. Bathrooms will be available on the route and at the start/finish area. Parking is provided at the Oakley Rodeo Grounds. Route files and GPX downloads are available via MapMyRun.
Participant amenities and services
All full marathon finishers receive a UTMA hoodie (also available for purchase). Participants receive a commemorative tech shirt and finisher’s medal. Bibs include three vouchers for food and drinks. Food and beverage vendors listed for the event include Great Harvest Scones, MooThru Ice Cream, and Hot Chocolate/Coffee; HoneyStinger energy snacks are provided. Packet pickup is held on race day. Adults must show photo identification to receive their race packet; participants 17 and under may be exempt if accompanied by an adult with ID.
