Urban Coast Run & Ultra 2026

The Urban Coast Run & Ultra is a coastal running event scheduled for April 2026 in Western Australia. The event takes place along the sunset coast, utilizing a series of paved coastal paths. Participants follow a route that offers views of the coastline throughout the duration of the event.

The race village is located at Tom Simpson Park, with the start and finish lines situated at Mullaloo Beach. The courses for the shorter distances are contained within the coastal paths of Mullaloo. The ultra-marathon distance follows an extended route that travels from Mullaloo to City Beach, returns through Mullaloo toward Mindarie, and concludes back at the start location.

A variety of distances are available to accommodate different categories of athletes:

  • 10 km - Individual race for senior and junior (U18) participants.
  • 21 km - Individual half marathon for age group and open categories.
  • 27 km - Individual race titled the Urban Coast Roller.
  • 64 km - Ultra-marathon for individual athletes.
  • 64 km - Ultra-marathon for teams consisting of two or three athletes.
