Event Format

The Syderhs Back to Frontyard Ultra is a "last one standing" event. Participants run a 6.71 km loop on the hour, every hour, until only one runner remains. Any runner who fails to start a loop within the hour or chooses not to continue receives a DNF (Did Not Finish). Running 24 consecutive loops equals a distance of 100 miles.

Location

The event takes place at Herdsman Lake in Perth, Western Australia. It is described as the reverse format of another event, held at the same location but during the cooler month of May.
