O.M.F.G Trail Running Festival

The O.M.F.G Trail Running Festival takes place in John Forrest National Park, located in Western Australia. The event utilizes the Eagle View Trail and the Heritage Trail, emphasizing the historical Swan View Railway Tunnel. This tunnel, which opened in 1896 and served steam locomotives until 1966, is now a preserved feature of the local trail network. All participants pass through this iconic tunnel as they approach the finish line.

The festival offers four distinct distances for participants:

  • 25 km
  • 16 km
  • 10 km
  • 6 km

For this edition, all race distances start and finish at Pechey Road in Swan View. The event serves as a platform to support the On My Feet Group. This charity focuses on assisting individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It provides support and running programs designed to help participants gain the skills and knowledge necessary for social integration and employment opportunities. The event is organized by Ultra Series W.A. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
