UNBROKEN - Team Trail Marathon

UNBROKEN - Team Trail Marathon is a team relay event on trails in the Scribbly Gums Conservation Area, Alexandra Hills, Queensland. The event hub is based at Hilliard State School. Teams can consist of two or four runners and the event offers both marathon and ultra relay formats. Teams have a maximum of 26 hours to complete the course and the competitive race includes Mixed, All-Male, and All-Female divisions. Every participant receives a casual event shirt, a handcrafted timber medal, and rewards for each loop completed.

Logistics and facilities

The event hub provides toilets, hot showers, shelter, and a canteen serving hot meals. A licensed bar will operate on site; no BYO is allowed. Camping options include tent or gazebo sites sized 7 m x 4 m per group of four, and a glamping package with a 4.5 m bell tent furnished with an air mattress, linen, blankets, pillows, lighting, and décor. Teams may book sites for one or two nights, with one team per site. Saturday night activities include a coffee van, live music, and large outdoor games. SEQ Trail Series Round 5 at James Drysdale Recreational Park in Bunya on 1 February 2026 features trail races of about 9.7 km and 15.6 km, professional timing, race photos, and post race food and coffee; the event is sold out.

Trail races at Gold Creek Reservoir on 8 March 2026 offer an 18 km loop with 18 hills and a 36 km double loop with 36 hills, mandatory fluid carry and a midway checkpoint with drinks and electrolytes.
