Union County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Dash 5K Trail Run

The Union County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Dash is scheduled for November 14, 2026, with a virtual 5K option available through November 21, 2026. The primary in person event takes place at The Simpson Event Center, 307 Cultivation Circle, Monroe, NC 28112. The event centres on a 5 kilometre trail course.

The event includes a Race Expo with local vendors and food trucks from Union County and surrounding areas. Raffle prizes are offered at the event, and every in person 5K runner receives a finisher medal, a T shirt, UCSO swag, a race bag with coupons and samples, and raffle tickets. Virtual 5K participants receive a finisher medal and a T shirt. Swag bag items listed for in person runners include a Deputy Dash water bottle, a glow in the dark bracelet, and a cooling towel.

Each runner receives three raffle tickets with their swag bag. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase; example pricing in the event information lists three tickets for $5, five tickets for $8, and ten tickets for $15. Proceeds from the event support the UCSO Foundation. The in person event includes an observance in honor of the agency’s only line of duty death.
