Union County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Dash 5K Trail Run
The event takes place on November 14, 2026 at The Simpson Event Center in Monroe, NC. It is presented by Echo Sierra Tactical, a veteran-founded facility that offers tactical escape rooms and training cells, including optional live opposition forces.
Two event formats are offered:
- 5K Trail Run (in-person)
- 5K Virtual Run
An on-site expo will feature local vendors and food trucks. Raffle prizes will be available during the event. All proceeds from the race support the UCSO Foundation.
Participant items and giveaways differ by format. Every in-person 5K runner receives a finisher medal, UCSO-branded items, a race bag with coupons and samples, and raffle tickets. Virtual 5K participants receive a finisher medal.
Registration for both the in-person and virtual 5K opens February 15, 2026 and closes February 28, 2026. The in-person registration fee is $25.00 and the virtual registration fee is $20.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
