TutHell 50K : Tuthill Park, Sioux Falls, SD
TutHell 50K is a looped ultramarathon held at Tuthill Park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The course is a roughly 0.31-mile loop run one hundred times, with about 90 feet of elevation gain per loop. Participants must complete the distance within a 12-hour cutoff.
Entry is not by open registration. Prospective entrants submit an essay; there is no general registration and entry is free. Instead of a fee, each runner pledges a donation to a common pot. Organizers cover event costs and the winning male and female runners each select a charity to receive the pooled donations. Donations are tax deductible through the fiscal sponsor Falls Area Singletrack. The event has a limited field, typically 40 to 50 runners.
The event page lists basic event support and expectations: an aid station, timing and tracking, and a recommendation that runners bring their own fuel. Course description directs runners to follow the singletrack, climb and descend a sledding hill area, and return to a marked tree near the facilities. The event has run since 2025 and reported charitable totals across years, with funds distributed entirely to winners' chosen charities.
