On the Trails - Mount Bold (Race #5)

This event is the fifth race in the On the Trails series, held at Mount Bold on Sunday 11 October 2026 and incorporating the 2026 SA Trail Championships. Distances offered for this event include:

  • 35 km
  • 25 km
  • 19 km
  • 10 km
  • Kids run

All On the Trails events are registered as ITRA National League events and the longer distances attract UTMB points. Registration for Mount Bold opens 6 September 2026 and closes 8 October 2026 at 5.00 pm. Competitors in the series are automatically entered in the series competition; series prizes use each competitor’s best four results and require finishing four or more events to be eligible.

Mandatory items for competitors include carrying a personal drinking vessel, a mobile phone, and the Emergency Plus app on that phone. Organisers strongly recommend basic first aid supplies and appropriate layers or a rain jacket. Walkers are permitted on the short course only.

Bibs must be collected from the Registration Desk on the morning of the event; competitors are emailed a link with their bib number. There are no individual event finisher medals; competitors who complete all five series events receive a series finisher cowbell. Entry fees, transfer and cancellation rules, course closure policies, and prize categories are set by the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
