City To Summit 2026

City To Summit 2026 is a fundraising walk held on Friday 25 September 2026 and organised by the Operation Flinders Foundation. The event is sold out. Participants walk from the Adelaide CBD through suburbia and into the Adelaide Hills to Mt Lofty Summit, then continue to Woodhouse Activity Centre. The route is approximately 21 km and is expected to take about 6 to 7 hours.

The walk is led by an Operation Flinders Team Leader who normally navigates harsh terrain in the northern Flinders Ranges with program participants. Along the route, participants stop at designated locations to take part in Operation Flinders activities and to learn about the Foundation. Past program participants and young people involved with Operation Flinders speak at points during the day. At Woodhouse Activity Centre there is a food platter and opportunities to hear from young people who have taken part in the program.

Fundraising is central to the event. The organisers challenge each person to raise $1,000, and all funds raised go to the Operation Flinders Foundation to support programs for young people. Event resources include an information pack and a fundraising pack provided by the organisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
