Event overview

City to Summit is a fundraising trek held on Friday 25 September 2026. The event raises funds for the Operation Flinders Foundation. Organisers state that all funds raised will go directly to the foundation to support programs for young people.

Route and format

Participants start from the Adelaide CBD and walk through suburbia into the Adelaide Hills, reaching Mt Lofty Summit and then Woodhouse Activity Centre. The trek is approximately 21 km and is expected to take about 7-8 hours. The walk is led by an Operation Flinders Team Leader. Along the route, there are designated stops where participants take part in Operation Flinders activities and hear from past participants and young people involved in the program. At Woodhouse Activity Centre there is a warm dinner and further opportunities to hear from program participants.
