Triathlon EPIQ 2026

Triathlon EPIQ is presented as an extreme triathlon combining open water swimming, gravel cycling and road and trail running. Swimming takes place in Lake Memphrémagog, the bike courses use gravel roads in the Canton of Potton, and the run includes the ascent and descent of Mont Owl's Head. The event is described as high difficulty, operated in semi autonomy, and certified ÉcoTQ Silver.

The fifth edition is scheduled for 26 September 2026 at 40 Chem. du Mont Owls Head, Mansonville, QC J0E 1X0. Age category is determined by the athlete's age on 31 December 2026. Online registration requires a client account and the online reservation deadline is 13 September 2026 at midnight.

Available race formats include three triathlons and two duathlons, with individual and some team options:

  • Triathlon EPIQ 1.9 km / 85 km / 22.1 km individual or team
  • Triathlon EPIQ Oly plus 1.5 km / 42 km / 10 km individual or team
  • Triathlon EPIQ Sprint plus 0.75 km / 25 km / 5.5 km individual or team
  • Duathlon EPIQ 3.5 km / 86 km / 22.1 km individual
  • Duathlon EPIQ Sprint plus 2.5 km / 26 km / 5.5 km individual

Displayed prices correspond to Triathlon Quebec member rates and include MS 1 service fees. Non member fees and taxes may apply. Participants are required to complete a fundraising amount and event surplus will be donated to the Centre d'action bénévole de la Missisquoi Nord. A two-day trail running festival at Jay Peak, Vermont, with seven races from a kids trail to a 53.1 km ultra featuring significant elevation gain and varied terrain, plus on-site lodging and resort amenities.

A charity event from September 25 to 27, 2026 at Mont Orford where teams use Joëlette and Trackz Mobilité to assist participants with functional limitations in repeated ascents; the goal is to raise 50,000 CAD for AlterGo and the Fondation..

A one-day mountain challenge covering five peaks around Westmore, Vermont, with a full route of 26 miles and about 6,142 feet of gain. The course has staffed water and aid stations, limited entry to protect trails, and on-campus camping.

A 7.1 mile mountain trail race at Jay Peak, Vermont with about 3,044 ft of vertical and a technical summit ridge. The field is capped at 500 runners and the course is clearly flagged with a strict summit cutoff.
