ZOOGRANBY OASIS Run : description
The ZOOGRANBY OASIS Run takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, and is currently sold out. Organized by the Fondation Mission Faune Zoo de Granby, the event raises funds for conservation, research and education projects. Since its first edition in 2017, the run has raised more than $275,000 that were reinvested in biodiversity preservation projects.
The event offers three distances:
- 1 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
Registration is organized in phases with pre-registration, regular registration and a last-minute period; on-site registration on the day is not available. Registration fees include different items depending on timing, such as a souvenir t-shirt for registrations before May 19, a Zoo ticket valid for the race day, a warm-up led by a professional, chip timing for the 5 km and 10 km, a finisher medal for all participants, and snacks and refreshments. The race site features entertainment, children's games and music. The event takes place rain or shine. Participants who collect $100 or more in additional donations receive two winter Zoo tickets.
