Trail Run - Shoreline

Trail Run with the Seattle Running Collective and Teva

This event is a trail run supported by Teva with on-site shoe trials for the Aventrail R2T shoe. Organizers recommend trail shoes with proper grip for the course. The meeting point is near the playground and bathrooms.

The running route is a looped course. Participants may complete as many or as few loops as they wish within a 40 minute window. A Strava route is available for reference.

The event includes a post-run refreshments period and a panel about the power of the trails. Panelists include Mike Wardian and Jennifer Green, and the discussion is moderated by Alison Mariella Désir. Mike Wardian plans a Pacific Crest Trail attempt from July 15 to September 15, 2026 covering approximately 2,650 miles. Jennifer Green has hiked 300 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, has been running with Black Girls Run for over 13 years, and is a certified run coach through the Road Runners Club of America. Her running history includes nine marathons and over forty half marathons.

The format combines an open looped run, equipment trials provided by a sponsor, and a panel conversation focused on trail experiences and lessons learned. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
