The course is a five-mile loop inside King County's Soaring Eagle Park. The trail is described as somewhat technical with rocks, trees, eagles, owls, and black bears noted on the route. Aid stations are provided every 2.5 miles and include gel, water, Gatorade, and first aid. Restrooms are also available every 2.5 miles. The course will be swept and includes mile markers, elevated directional signs, and red streamers.

Awards and finish amenities are specified: a commemorative Soaring Eagle medallion, a custom American Flag Soaring Eagle keepsake for male and female 25-mile winners, and 250th Eagle trophies for winners of the 20, 15, 10, and 5 mile races. Finish-area offerings include hot dogs, apple pie, lemonade, and raffled Mariners tickets. Participants who wear red, white, and blue receive a $10 off coupon for a future race.
