Event Overview

The Trail Demon 10k is a trail running event held on April 4, 2026, at Dirt Farm Brewing in Bluemont, Virginia. The course is a forest trail behind the brewery, consisting of a loop run twice for the 10 km distance. The terrain is technical, featuring tree roots, rocks, and elevation changes.

Course and Logistics

The event is chip-timed. Five water stations are positioned along the 10k course, with Gatorade available at some. The course is accessible from Dirt Farm Brewing at 18701 Foggy Bottom Rd. Race-day registration is available, with a price increase on the morning of the event. Packet pickup is at the event location, and participants are recommended to arrive one hour before the start.

Participation and Awards

Registration fees are $50 until March 15, after which they increase to $55. A virtual run option is available. Points from this event count towards the organizer's Year-Long 10k, Back of the Pack, and Sippin Series. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Boulder Crest Foundation, which supports combat veterans, first responders, and their families.

Top three overall men and women are recognized, along with first and second place in standard age groups from 19 & Under to 70+.
