TPK Endurance
Payson, United States • 27-28 Mar 2026
Event Format
TPK Endurance is a two-person team endurance race held at Camp Geronimo in Payson, Arizona. Teams have 30 hours to complete an unknown distance while performing a series of unknown tasks. These tasks can include skill-based challenges, mental puzzles, problem-solving, and strength-based movements. The team composition can be male, female, or mixed.
Preparation and Skills
Participants should expect a pre-race challenge and may need to learn a new skill before the event. Skills used in past events have included basic navigation, swimming, climbing, carrying heavy and awkward weight, problem-solving, and solving a Rubik's Cube.
Logistics and Accommodation
Cabin room rentals are available on-site for the duration of the event, from Thursday evening to Sunday morning. Each cabin room contains two twin beds, with teams sharing a room. The cost is $50 per person and includes a full kitchen and bathroom; participants must bring their own pillow and sleeping bag.
Required and Prohibited Gear
A full gear list will be released one month before the race. Basic required items include a backpack, Rubik’s Cube, hydration bladder, headlamp, first aid kit, food for over 30 hours, a basic watch (GPS and step counters are prohibited), compass, glow sticks, safety whistle, multi-tool, pen, and paper. For safety, each team must carry one cell phone in their pack for emergency use only; using it ends the race. Other prohibited items include any GPS-enabled devices, radios, and calculators.
General Information
The course incorporates the natural terrain and its challenges. Weather and conditions can vary, including heat, cold, dryness, and wetness. Safety is a shared responsibility; while medics are available and some trails are marked, parts of the course may require map and compass navigation. There are no refunds or transfers for race registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
