TPK Endurance
Fort McDowell, United States • 27 Mar 2026
Event overview
TPK Endurance is a two-person team endurance race held in the Phoenix, AZ area. Teams have 30 hours to complete the event, running non-stop over an unknown distance while completing a series of unknown tasks. The starting point will be revealed 30 days before the event. The course uses natural terrain and may include marked and unmarked sections, elevation gain, and variable weather conditions. Medics will be available during the race.
Tasks during the race include skill-based challenges, mental puzzles, problem solving, and strength-based movements. A team pre-race challenge is expected, and teams may need to learn a new skill before competing. Skills used in past events include basic navigation, swimming, climbing, carrying heavy or awkward weight, and solving a Rubik’s Cube.
Teams, registration, gear, and rules
Teams consist of two people and may be two males, two females, or mixed. Each teammate must register separately; registration is per person. There is an "ISO - Teammate" registration option to help find a partner, after which both teammates must complete official registration.
A basic required gear list will be released one month prior; required items listed include a backpack or ruck, Rubik’s Cube, hydration bladder (2L or 3L recommended), headlamp and extra batteries, basic first aid kit, food for 30+ hours, a non-GPS watch, compass, glow sticks, whistle, multi-tool or knife, pen and paper. Devices with GPS functionality and most electronics are prohibited. For safety, one cell phone per team must be carried for emergencies; use of that phone ends the race. There are no refunds or transfers of registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
