Event overview

The Zane Grey Highline Trail Runs are scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026. The event is the 36th annual running of the race and takes place at Mountain Meadow Ranch in Christopher Creek, Arizona. The courses use maintained sections of the Highline Trail and remove the burn area of Hell's Gate. The route includes multiple stream crossings and vistas across the Mogollon Rim.

Courses and distances

• 50-mile: predominantly singletrack (about 86% singletrack), with more than 6,500 ft of climbing and multiple stream crossings.
• 50K: over 90% singletrack, with about 4,400 ft of climbing; it covers the same scenery as the 50-mile without the final 19 miles.
