Pine Trail Run

The Pine Trail Run is a non-profit event organized by Pine Strawberry Fuel Reduction (PSFR) in Pine, Arizona. The race courses are situated along the Mogollon Rim at an elevation of approximately 6,000 feet. Participants run primarily on trails within the Tonto National Forest, which are built and maintained by the PSFR trail crew and the Arizona Trail Association.

The event offers three distinct course distances:

  • 6K
  • 10 mile
  • 50K

Each individual race distance is limited to a maximum of 100 participants. All scheduled races conclude at a barn located in Pine. To facilitate transport, a shuttle service is provided for both participants and spectators between the start and finish areas.

The venue offers multiple accommodation options for those staying overnight. Free camping is available in the Tonto National Forest adjacent to the parking area, and camping is also available at the event venue for a nominal fee. The event is a grassroots effort supported by several local non-profit organizations and volunteer groups, including community emergency response and radio associations.
