Tough Frog - Last Man Standing Run or Ruck
Williamston, United States • 7 Mar 2026
Event overview
Sufferfest 26: Last Man Standing Race or Ruck takes place on March 7, 2026, in Williamston, SC. The event has two divisions: running and rucking. Participants complete repeated 1-mile loops. Each loop must be finished within 20 minutes; failure to complete a loop in that time or failure to appear at the next start after the three warning sounds results in elimination. When a participant stops, they ring a bell to record their exit.
Rules and logistics
Ruck division participants carry a 30 lb ruck for both men and women, with a 0.5 pound leeway. All ruck participants are weighed before the race and may be weighed randomly during the event; a weight difference greater than 0.5 pounds leads to disqualification. Competitors remain in the division they start in for the duration of the event. An aid station will be located at the start/finish and will provide basic food and hydration. Tents are allowed and overnight camping the night before the event is permitted. Prizes include a first-place award for each division, buckles for those who reach 100 miles, a SWAG bag for each participant, and a special prize for wearing a unit, fire, or department shirt during the first 20 laps. All proceeds will go to SCQRF. Registration closes March 3 at 11:59 PM ET. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
