Resolution Run/Walk
The Resolution Run/Walk is a timed event held on January 2, 2027 at Bridgeway Station, 1000 Via Corso Avenue, Simpsonville, SC. The event offers choices of three, six or nine hour run and walk options on a scenic two mile loop. Participants complete as many laps as they can within their chosen time allotment.
Race features and logistics include:
- Three hour event on a two mile loop
- Six hour event on a two mile loop
- Nine hour event on a two mile loop
The format is self timed. A lap tradition uses a participant's personal mug and a stone to track laps. There is one aid station on the loop stocked with pickles, cookies, chips, assorted candy, fig newtons, pretzels, water, Coke and ginger ale. The event is cup less so participants use their own vessel. Finishers receive a medal and a personalized race bib. The first 100 participants receive custom race socks. Race photos, event themed giveaways, music and a post race gathering are provided. Packet pickup takes place at the pavilion in front of Bridgeway Brewing Co.
Other practical details from the venue: parking is ample and free adjacent to the course, restrooms are available at Bridgeway Station, dogs and headphones are allowed, personal tents or aid stations may be set up near the driveway, and donations support the Giving Series and 28 local non profits.
