Koala Bottle Table Rock 15K & 5K
The Koala Bottle Table Rock event is scheduled for August 2026 and is organized by South Carolina Trail Runners at Table Rock State Park in Pickens, SC. The race weekend includes two trail events: a 5k and a 15k (the 15k course is noted as currently closer to a 17K). Registration opens January 1, 2026. Entry fees listed are $40 for the 15k and $25 for the 5k. There is a $6.00 park entry fee at the front gate.
Course and logistics
The 5k follows single-track trails that meander along and across Carrick Creek from the nature center, climb toward Pinnacle Mountain, then descend and loop back toward the start and finish area. The longer course shares the first two miles with the 5k, then climbs nearly 2,000 feet over the first five miles to the high point at Pinnacle Mountain. The descent passes Bald Rock and other overlooks, and includes additional stream crossings, exposed roots, and jagged rocks. Race day registration and packet pick-up take place at the Pinnacle Pavilion. Awards are given for first, second and third overall, with age-group awards noted. Finish-line amenities include food, cold drinks, race shirts and finisher awards.
