The event is organized by South Carolina Trail Runners and takes place in August 2026 in Pickens, South Carolina, at Table Rock State Park (1025 Table Rock State Park Road, Pickens, SC 29671). Distances offered:

Registration opens January 1, 2026 at 12:00am EST. Entry fees listed are $40 for the 15k and $25 for the 5k. There is a separate $6.00 park entry fee at the front gate.
Course and logistics
The 5k uses single-track trails that run along and across Carrick Creek from the nature center, includes a short climb toward Pinnacle Mountain, then a downhill loop back to the start-finish area. The 15k follows the same route as the 5k for the first two miles, climbs nearly 2,000 feet over the first five miles to the high point at Pinnacle Mountain, then descends past Bald Rock and other overlooks with additional stream crossings, roots and rocks before returning down the valley to the finish. Race-day registration and packet pick-up are at the Pinnacle Pavilion. Parking instructions ask entrants to use the West Gate, turn left at the Country Store, drive past the start/finish, and park at the Pinnacle Pavilion.
