Thunder Mountain 10 Mile Challenge
The Thunder Mountain 10 Mile Challenge is a road race held at Fort Huachuca on October 17, 2026. The event is Fort Huachuca’s version of the Army 10 Miler and covers a 10 mile distance. Participants may enter as individuals or form teams.
Registered runners receive a commemorative T-shirt. The top three finishers in each category will be recognized. Registration closes at close of business on October 14, 2026.
Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at Barnes Field House. Race activities take place at the Apache Flats PT Area on the installation.
Entry to the installation requires an access pass obtained in advance at the visitor center located at Van Deman Gate. The visitor center issues installation passes for those who need them prior to race day.
