Empire Ranch Run

Empire Ranch Run is a trail race at the Empire Ranch in the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area, Sonoita, Arizona. It offers a 10k Trail Run, a 5k Run/Walk, a 1 Mile Walk/Run, and a Children's Mile for ages 14 and under. The family-friendly course runs on dirt trails, BLM 2-track, and cattle paths across rolling grasslands of the high Sonoran Desert, with cows often visible.

Organized by the Empire Ranch Foundation and Run Tucson, the event funds preservation of Empire Ranch’s historic buildings and landscape. Terrain is green with rocky sections and hills. Post-race activities and souvenirs cap the day.
