The Empire Ranch Trail Run is scheduled for January 24, 2026 and is produced by the Empire Ranch Foundation in partnership with Run Tucson. The event is capped at 500 total registrants and is intended to raise funds for the Empire Ranch Foundation to protect, restore and sustain the ranch buildings and landscape. Course and logistics

Terrain consists of dirt trails, BLM 2-track, cattle paths and Empire Ranch lands. Course difficulty is described as generally "green" for technical terrain with some rocky sections and rolling hills. Cattle may be present on course. Dogs are not permitted on the running courses. The course is not suitable for chair athletes and may be difficult for visually impaired athletes. There is parking on site.
