The Empire Ranch Trail Run is scheduled for January 24, 2026, at Empire Ranch, Sonoita, AZ (16655 E Empire Ranch Rd). The event is produced in partnership with the Empire Ranch Foundation and Run Tucson and raises funds to support protection and restoration of the Empire Ranch historic buildings and landscape. Course and logistics

The route uses a mix of dirt trails, BLM 2-track, cattle paths, and Empire Ranch lands within the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area, about 50 miles southeast of Tucson near Sonoita. Organizers note cattle ("Cows: They'll be around"). The planned trail is generally described as green in technical difficulty, with some rocky sections and rolling hills. The 10k, 5k, and 1 mile events are timed and include finisher video.
