Three Sisters Ultra Festival

The Three Sisters Ultra Festival is a timed trail event in the Maryville College Woods near Maryville, Tennessee. The eleventh running offers 24 hour, 12 hour, and 6 hour timed options, with relays for team entries and day or night choices for the 6 and 12 hour events.

The course is a 2.2-mile loop that begins and ends at the McArthur Pavilion and includes about 120 feet of elevation gain per loop. Aid and access to a warm fireplace are available each loop. Participants may set up a personal aid area under the pavilion or in the large yard around it.

Distance equivalents for the loop course:

• 12 loops = Marathon
• 15 loops = 50K
• 29 loops = 100K
• 46 loops = 100 miles
• 56 loops = Course record distance (121.875 miles)

Additional on-site features include live music and other activities such as a nine-hole disc golf option. The race will use chip timing; bibs should be placed on the front of the body and not folded so timing readers can register laps. Aid station amenities are reserved for runners and registered pacers; pacers must pick up and wear a bib at packet pickup.

Packet pickup is at the McArthur Pavilion Friday evening and again the morning of the event. Race items will not be mailed; someone else may pick up a packet on a participant’s behalf. Registration remains open through early June, though apparel and swag are not guaranteed for registrations after May 25 at midnight. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
