Course details: the 7 mile and 4 mile courses begin with a short paved approach before entering park trails. Trails are described as moderately technical and flowing, with gradual climbs and descents along Sharp's Ridge. The four mile course follows a loop using Hanover Street, Lincoln, Sharp Shin, Push Line and Firebreak before returning to Lincoln for the finish. The seven mile course follows the four mile route to the Sharp Shin/Firebreak junction and then continues along Independence, Lincoln and additional ridge loops before finishing on Hanover. The kids race is approximately one mile and is entirely on trail, with start and finish at the base of the trailhead while staging remains at the main race area.

Policies and services: registration fees are non refundable and bib transfers are not permitted. Aid and water stations provide very small cups, so runners are encouraged to carry their own water. Course rules prohibit headsets, bicycles, strollers, roller blades and pets. A minimum pace of 18:00 per mile may be enforced and runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to run the adult courses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
