The Sharp's Ridge Rambler takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, with the race area at Dr. Paul L. Kelley Volunteer Academy (formerly Lincoln Park Technology and Trade Center), 535 Chickamauga Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917. Event distances include:

Student divisions are offered for the 7 Mile and 4 Mile events for ages 14 and under.
Course and event details
The 7 Mile and 4 Mile courses begin with a short paved road section before entering park trails. Trails are described as moderately technical and flowing, with gradual climbs and descents along Sharp's Ridge. The four mile route follows Hanover Street into the park and uses Lincoln, Sharp Shin, Push Line, and Firebreak before returning to the finish. The seven mile route follows the four mile course to the Sharp Shin/Firebreak junction, continues up to Independence and Lincoln loops, and finishes downhill on Hanover. The Kids Trail Mile is approximately one mile, runs entirely on trail, and starts and finishes at the base of the trailhead while staging is at the academy.
Rules, safety and registration
Registration fees are nonrefundable and bib transfers are not allowed; a Knoxville Track Club (KTC) member discount is accepted. For safety, runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to enter adult races, and an 18:00/mile minimum pace will be enforced with a sweeper. No headsets, earphones, bicycles, baby strollers, roller blades, or pets are allowed on course. Aid stations will provide very small cups; runners are encouraged to carry their own water and any needed medication for insect sensitivities.
