Haw Ridge Trail Race

The Haw Ridge Trail Race is a trail running event at Haw Ridge Park in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, with starts and finishes at 299 Old Edgemoor Drive. The event program lists three races: an eight mile run, an eight mile student category, and a kids trail mile.

The eight mile course includes some climbing early, then more flowing trail sections that run through the park and along the lake before returning to the finish. The kids trail run is almost entirely on trail and measures close to one mile.

Registration notes state there are no refunds and no bib transfers, and a Knoxville Track Club member discount is accepted. The series offers season pass bundles for adults and for kids, with bundle offers expiring June 1. Special limited edition T shirts are printed for the series and are issued one per runner per season.

Safety and course rules restrict headsets, earphones, bicycles, baby strollers, roller blades and pets on course. One aid station will be placed roughly halfway at a lakeside picnic table; runners should plan for limited cups and are advised to carry their own hydration and any required medication. Younger runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to run the adult race. An 18 00 per mile minimum pace will be enforced with a sweeper. Results are posted on the event results page.
