The Norris Ultra Dam Hard Trail Race takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Norris Dam State Park in Norris / Andersonville, Tennessee. The event offers two trail distances and uses single-track trails and jeep roads across Norris Dam State Park and the Norris Municipal Watershed. Both distances start and finish at the pavilion near the Tea Room.

Course, aid, and timing

Aid stations and water are provided at multiple locations and are accessible by road. The 25k has a 4:40 time limit. The 50k has a 9-hour time limit; 50k runners must reach the halfway point and leave that aid station within 4 hours to continue. Optional live tracking is available through the Webscorer app, which sends location updates approximately every five minutes.

Rules, safety, and logistics

Headsets, earphones, bicycles, baby strollers, roller blades, and pets are not allowed on the course. Runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the adult races. An 18:00 per mile minimum pace will be enforced by a sweeper. Special finisher medals are presented for completing the 25k or 50k. Limited edition T-shirts are issued one per runner per season.
