The Veterans Heritage Ridge Run is an annual fundraiser that supports the construction and upkeep of Sharps Ridge Veterans Memorial Park. The 8th annual event, which includes a JROTC competition, is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. The start point and ceremonial area are at Lincoln Park Technology Trade School, 535 Chickamauga Ave.

Race format and logistics

All events take place on well marked hiking trails of Sharps Ridge. The courses form a loop and run through largely wooded, hilly terrain. Participants can choose from these options:

  • 1 mile family fun walk
  • 10K Ruck Race
