The Veterans Heritage Ridge Run is an annual fundraiser that supports construction and upkeep of Sharps Ridge Veterans Memorial Park. The 8th annual event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, and includes a JROTC competition. The ceremonial area and event start point are at Lincoln Park Technology Trade School, 535 Chickamauga Ave.

Course, options, and logistics

All events use looped, well marked hiking trails on Sharps Ridge. The terrain is largely wooded and hilly. Participants can choose from the following options:

  • 1 mile family fun walk
  • 10K Ruck Race

Conquer the Bluff is a 4.2 mile mountain run in Jacksboro climbing to Eagle Bluff and back with 930 feet of elevation gain. Proceeds support Campbell County High School scholarships and high school athletes run free.
