The View Trail Race - Hyner, PA

The View is a trail race held November 7, 2026 at Western Clinton Sportsmans Club in Hyner, PA. The event offers two distances and uses established trail sections called The View, Post Draft, SOB, and Huff Run. The 25K course has been modified to bypass Johnson Run while retaining the main trail sequence.

Both distances share the first 5.5 miles of trail. After that point the shorter course branches onto Spring Trail and descends Huff Run. The organizers describe the course as slightly easier and a little shorter than the usual Hyner 25K.

Elevation gain is approximately 3,000 feet for the 25K and about 1,800 feet for the 15K. Registration opens December 18 and is limited to the first 500 entrants. Participants are expected to complete the course within about 6.5 hours, and the event notice requests that people who plan only to walk the course refrain from entering.

There are firm race policies: no refunds, no deferrals, no bib switches, and no bandits. These rules are stated as non negotiable for this event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
