Course and entry

This is the sixth running of the event and is intended to let runners cover parts of the Hyner Challenge in the fall. The race uses the View, Post Draft, SOB, and Huff Run trails. The 25K course is modified to bypass Johnson Run while retaining the key climbs associated with Hyner. The 15K follows the 25K route to the View and then splits from that course at mile 5.5 to return via the Huff Run Trail.

The course is described as slightly easier and a little shorter than the usual Hyner 25K, with an expected 3,000 feet of elevation gain over about 15 miles. The organizer requests serious runners or hikers only and expects most participants to finish within 6.5 hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
