The View Trail Race - Hyner, PA - November 7, 2026

The View Trail Race is a fall trail event held near Hyner / North Bend, Pennsylvania. The organizer offers two distance options:

  • 25K
  • 15K

The 25K course is a modified version of the Hyner Challenge that bypasses Johnson Run while retaining The View, Post Draft, SOB, and Huff Run as primary trails. The 15K follows the same route as the 25K for the first 5.5 miles, then branches onto Spring Trail and descends Huff Run. The course for this edition is described as slightly easier and a bit shorter than the usual Hyner 25K.

Expect approximately 3,000 feet of elevation gain for the 25K and about 1,800 feet for the 15K. Organizers expect participants to finish within about 6.5 hours due to shorter daylight at this time of year. Registration opens December 18 and is limited to the first 500 entrants. The event policy states there are no refunds, deferrals, bib switches, or bandits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
