The Sundial Circuit

The Sundial Circuit takes place at Killarney Lake in Fredericton, NB, Canada. The event is built around a gently winding 5 km loop on lakeside trails. Participants may run a single loop or repeat the loop throughout the day; when the course closes at sunset the runner with the most completed loops is the winner.

A central aid station near Killarney Lake Lodge is stocked all day with water, electrolyte drinks, and simple snacks. The race is cupless, so participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle. The main start and finish area and the aid station are visible from the parking at the Killarney Lake Rotary Centennial Lodge.

Access is via Saint Marys Street or Brookside Drive to the roundabout and the lodge entrance. Organizers indicate there should be ample parking.

The course includes single-track trail, roots, rocks, and uneven terrain; runners are advised to take care on technical sections and pass others only when safe. Volunteers will be stationed at the main hub and basic first aid supplies will be available there. Participants are responsible for their own pacing, hydration, and fueling, and must check in with staff at the hub if they stop racing. There are limited spots, no race day registration or refunds, and a transfer period will be offered after the event sells out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
