The Sundial Circuit : Killarney Lake, Fredericton
The event takes place on June 27, 2026 at Killarney Lake in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The core route is a gently winding 5 km loop on lake trails. Participants may run a single loop or continue running laps throughout the day; when the sun touches the horizon the course closes and the runner with the most completed laps is the winner.
A central aid station at Killarney Lake Lodge will be stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, and simple snacks for the duration of the event. The main start and finish are located near the Killarney Lake Rotary building. There should be ample parking with the start line visible from the lot. This is a cupless event, so runners must bring a reusable cup or bottle.
The course includes single-track trail, roots, rocks, and sections of uneven terrain; runners are asked to take care on technical sections and pass only when safe. Volunteers will be stationed at the main hub and basic first aid supplies will be available; emergency services can be contacted if needed. Organizers state there will be no race day deferrals, same-day registrations, or refunds, and a transfer period may be offered after the event sells out. Registration fee shown for the listed period is CA$45.51. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
