Mines to Pines Trail Races at Tiny Trails Campground, Minto

Mines to Pines takes place July 25 and 26 at Tiny Trails Campground on the Mountain Bike Minto trail network near Grand Lake, New Brunswick. The event uses a reimagined loop with start and finish around the campfire at the campground.

All races follow a wooded ATV trail to a singletrack that moves through landscape shaped by historic strip and pit coal mines. Runners will encounter roots and rocks, lakeside views from former mine cuts, short sharp hills, open sections for speed, and clearly marked trails.

Distances:

• 10 km (solo)
• 50 km (solo)
• 60 km (relay, teams of 2 or 3)

Registration includes access to one aid station at Tiny Trails Campground, one water drop at the end of the ATV trail, crew access at the start and finish, a marked course, a three day trail pass to Mountain Bike Minto trails (valued at $25), a race registration gift to be announced, and shower and washroom access at Tiny Trails.

Additional details: registration closes when sold out or on July 11, 2026 with a possible last minute window July 14 to July 17, 2026; bib transfers and distance changes are allowed until July 17, 2026. Refund and deferral policies cover specified personal, medical and safety reasons and include injury refund timelines (full refund until 21 days before the race, 50% until 14 days before the race, discretionary refunds thereafter). Financial assistance options are available and the race is free for members of Wolastoqey/Wəlastəkwey communities. Prize recognition is provided to the top three finishers in male, female, nonbinary, and relay divisions.
